Success! 20’s Plenty for Worthing to go to public consultation

Worthing County Local Committee agreed tonight there should be a full public consultation regarding introducing 20mph speed limits on all of Worthing’s residential roads. This is great news – it is a big step forward. If the response to the consultation is successful then it should mean that 20’s Plenty will go ahead.
Thank you to every one of you that has supported the campaign so far. Councillors tonight mentioned that they’d received many emails in support and that there is a groundswell of public support. Your actions really do make a difference.
Now more than ever we need everyone that supports 20’s Plenty to go out and tell their friends, neighbours, colleagues etc. why it would be a good thing for Worthing. You will find the vast majority of people will be in support. However if you get any difficult questions please see the Frequently Asked Questions section of the website here. There’s even more information on the National 20’s Plenty for Us website available here.
If you want any further information do not hesitate to contact the campaign by replying to this email address or using the contact form on the website.

Finally if you’re able to help deliver leaflets, we still have over 400 roads to cover. You can find a list of which roads have been done already here. If the roads in your area are not on the list, please consider whether you could spare some time to help deliver leaflets. I can provide as many as you can deliver!

Thanks again for your support,
Regards,
Duncan
