There has been a very positive reponse to the way Police have been dealing with young people who have been commiting low level offences such as Anti – social behaviour from the parents of the youngsters and also the aggrieved. When used in approiate circumstances, Community Resolution will enable victims to reach effective resolution and closure to the crime that affected them. Offenders will receive speedy justice and there will be reduced bureaucracy for The Police. Community Resolution has been favourably received by officers as it allows them to deal with low level crime by doing the right thing as opposed to being driven by a sometimes lengthy legal process: ie apolgy letter, apology in person, paying for damage or fixing the damage themselves are only a few examples how this can be used.

My next Police Surgery is on Thursday 14th October 2011 at 11.00hrs at West Worthing Baptist Church South Street Tarring. If you have any issues or concerns or just want a chat then please come and see me.
