Adur, West & East Worthing Party including East Arun

Getting ready for another great season…

The Tourism Department of Adur & Worthing Councils is getting ready for another busy season.

The brand new VisitWorthing Information Centre located at the Dome Cinema on Marine Parade is looking forward to welcoming our visitors this year. The centre will be open 7 days a week from June 1st; why not pop in and have a look and browse the range of gifts and souvenirs including many jubilee and Olympic themed items.

2012 will be an exciting year with the Queens Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. Worthing & Adur will have lots going on too; the very first Food & Drink Festival across the whole region will give everyone a chance to discover what’s good to eat and drink in the region. The Big Air Open, Worthing’s brand new kitesurfing event will be a real thrill and of course all the favourites including the Men’s National Bowls Championships and the Worthing International Birdman Competition.

Keeping up to date with What’s On will be really easy too; the Summer Events Booklet for 2012 is available now. Packed full of Worthing & Adur events from May – October the booklet can be picked up from several locations around the area including the VisitWorthing Information Centre and Shoreham’s Civic Centre or order it online from www.visitworthing.co.uk .

You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook too – events, news, updates and offers at your finger tips – www.twitter.com/visitworthing and www.facebook.com/visitworthingor tell us what you’re up to; what are your favourite things.
