Grant applications to be considered by Eastern Arun committee

The first round of West Sussex County Council Community Initiative Fund applications for the new financial year will be considered by Eastern Arun County Councillors at a meeting next month.

The Joint Eastern Arun Area Committee meets on Tuesday June 12, at 7pm, in the New Millennium Chamber, Manor House, Church Street, Littlehampton, BN17 5EW.

The Committee will also be asked to consider grant applications for Prevention and Wellbeing funding for the coming year, as well as receiving a report on the grants awarded over the previous year.

There will also be an update on community policing issues in the Eastern Arun area, given by Sussex Police.

Graham Tyler, Chairman of the County Councillors on the Committee, said: “Also on the agenda is our regular ‘talk with us’ item, where residents can take to the floor and raise any issues they have.

“As the Joint Eastern Arun Area Committee is made up of representatives from the County, District, Town and Parish Councils, this is an ideal opportunity to meet your local representative and ask any questions.”
