Put a spring in your step with Roundabout Poets

Self-service terminals are being installed at Chichester Library

Kick off your spring celebrations by joining the Roundabout Poets at Worthing Library next week.

The group, which took its name from members who step on and off the stage at any time, will be showcasing never-before-heard poems about renewal on Friday April 13.

The afternoon event starts at 12pm and anyone attending can bring along and perform their work.

It is one of several collaborations between Worthing Library and the West Sussex-based charity Revolutionary Arts Group (RAG) that organises art events across the county.

Lionel Barnard, Deputy Leader of West Sussex County Council who is responsible for libraries, said: “This is a great opportunity to listen to and share some of the best local poetry in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

“It is free to attend and you do not need to book in advance.”
