Strike action update for Adur and Worthing

Just to let you know what services in Adur and Worthing are affected by strike action this Wednesday:
The Adur Civic Centre and Worthing Town Hall are open but offering restricted services to the public.
Refuse and garden waste collections will only affect households who have their refuse collected on a Wednesday.  Households are asked to leave both their refuse and green waste bins outside as usual and they will be collected as normal. However, they will be subject to staff resources, so if the weekly waste isn’t collected on the 30th it will be collected on 7th December. Recycling will work on a catch up where bins aren’t collected on Wednesday.  We hope to have all bins collected by Friday and those bins should be left available for us to collect.
All residents affected have been advised.
Clinical and commercial waste services are unaffected. Street cleansing will be limited and deep cleaning planned for Downview Road and Boundary Road in Worthing will go ahead as planned.   For more information visit www.aws.gov.uk or Facebook  – Adur and Worthing Council Services
