Merry Christmas to all! – Sharon Bowles e-News #14: Have a very Merry Christmas!

Sharon Bowles wishes everyone in the South-East of England a very merry Christmas and highlights her achievements from the past year.
2012 has been the busiest year yet for me in the European Parliament.
There has been no let-up in the amount of important legislation passing through my Committee. Legislation on markets, bank capital, and economic governance have dominated and as fast as we complete one, more comes along.
These are all separate from the ongoing tasks of trying to solve the Eurozone crisis and the political and legal complexities of the banking union!
I would like to thank everyone who has helped me this year: my staff, advisors, colleagues and members. Your advice, ideas and support have been greatly appreciated.
Once again, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a very successful New Year!
