Tarring Neighbourhood Panel - Adur & Worthing Liberal Democrats
Adur, West & East Worthing Party including East Arun

Tarring Neighbourhood Panel

The next Tarring Neighbourhood Panel is on Wednesday 26th October 2011 at 7.30pm – 8.30pm the venue is West Worthing Baptist Church South Street Tarring.

We are in dire need of new members to join The Panel who meet approximately every three months for just one hour.

If you have any concerns about community safety issues such as crime, anti-social behaviour, road safety and traffic management, as well as other matters that can impact upon our community, then please come and join us. This is your opportunity to help shape the priorities for Tarring.

Our Priorities at Present are

1) Parking on Pavements.

This priority is a difficult one to resolve as there is no legislation in place to prevent vehicles parking on the pavement.

Police can only deal with those vehicles which are causing a complete obstruction of the pavement, Jenny and I have closely monitored this and have noticed an improvement regarding this problem and will continue to monitor.

2) Dog Control Order

This has been passed awaiting the Order to become Active.

3) Anti – Social Behaviour

This is somewhat sporadic and is always dealt with at the time it occurs. Now the nights are drawing in, it is more than likely that there will be a reduction especially around the Park area. Although from the Police point of view ( reported incidents) this year has been relatively quiet.

We look forward to seeing you on the 26th October.
