The next Panel Meeting is on Wednesday 11th January 2011 at 19.30hrs venue to be arranged.  We would like to invite new members to join the panel. Neighbourhood panels provide an opportunity for you to come together with the police, district, and county council to discuss community safety issues. They are your opportunity to inform us of any concerns or issues you have and help shape the priorities for your area.

Damage to vehicles.

On Saturday 3rd December at approximately 0100hrs a vehicle had its wing mirror damaged. (Serial 0960 03/12/11)

Between the hours of 12.15hrs – 13.30hrs on Sunday 18th December a vehicle had a tyre slashed in Leeward Road. (Serial 0964 18/12/11)

Arson.

At approximately 0500hrs on Tuesday 27th December 2011a vehicle was set alight in Guildford Road. The vehicle was parked on the owner’s driveway. (Serial 0212 27/12/11)

Burglary other than dwelling. (OTD)

Several sheds were broken into at The West Tarring Allotments Ringmer Road during the night time hours of Monday 5th December and Tuesday 6th December. (0166 06/12/11)

Robbery.

At approx 0300hrs on Sunday 18th December a robbery occurred in Ethelred Road. The male was assaulted and robbed of money by two males. One of the males was described as white late 20’s early 30’s solid build, light coloured short hair and possibly has a tattoo with two playing cards on the left side of his neck. The other male is described as white, mid to late 20’s and of a slim build, about ‘5’ 8” in height. He had dark short hair. He was wearing a dark tracksuit. (Serial 0543 18/12/11)

Aggravated Burglary.

On Thursday 22nd December at 2100hrs there was an aggravated burglary of a flat in South Street Tarring near to Canterbury Road. Four males smashed their way into the flat looking for drugs. The occupant was very frightened by this incident. It appears the flat was not the correct address. The four males two black, one white male and one possibly from Afghanistan. The four males made off in a vehicle but it is unknown in which direction they went. (Serial 1682 22/12/11)
