NHS in Crisis

Patients are facing longer waits for ambulances and beds are full in our local hospitals and the Lib Dems are calling for more funding now.

Recent problems with services in Eastbourne and Brighton has meant delays of up to four hours for ambulances to reach people, made worse by poor weather conditions.

The Lib Dems are calling for a penny in the pound on income tax to raise the £6 billion a year extra the NHS badly needs. Kelly-Marie Blundell, Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate, said; “The NHS is a vital service, and right now it’s patients who are paying the price for heartless Conservative cuts. “A penny in the pound on income tax could make all the difference in people getting the care they badly need, locally and nationally.”
