Trudi Starling - Marine Ward

I am a local Resident and a successful advocate  for those who have an issue with authorities.

I am saddened at the enormous waste of money, the removal of vital services and amusements, especially the swimming pool which needs urgent attention, a public venue which is not fit for purpose.  

We need economical homes for Worthing People, which are low on maintenance and energy cost but, alongside these homes, we also need Dentists and GP surgeries (with staff). The continuous cramming in of houses with no infrastructure is crippling our Town. 

My claim to fame : I have taught hundreds of people to swim safely and I helped to organise the Mayor’s Annual Swimarathon at the Aquarena, raising many thousands of pounds for local Charities. 

My aim for the Council : I would work to see more scrutiny on decisions made by the Council that affect us all.
